Rafael Duarte Killed in Perris Fiery Crash at Harley Knox Boulevard and Patterson Avenue
Perris, California (July 14, 2020) – The Riverside County Coroner’s Office has identified one of the two Perris victims who died after two vehicles collided Monday morning in Perris.
The fatal crash was reported at around 11:45 a.m. at the intersection of Harley Knox Boulevard and Patterson Avenue.
A vehicle of unspecified make and built was moving at high speed when it collided with a second automobile at the intersection, a local news source reported.
One of the involved vehicles reportedly caught fire, and a victim was trapped inside.

68-year-old Rafael Navarro Duarte was one of the two victims who died at the scene.
The highway was closed down as police and emergency crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
