Possible Injuries Sustained in Alpine Car Collision on 80 Freeway
Alpine, California (July 13, 2020) – Authorities are investigating the cause of a car accident that happened Sunday afternoon in Alpine.
The California Highway Patrol said a Toyota Prius and a white Honda collided at about 1:25 p.m. on westbound 80 Freeway at the Tavern Road on-ramp.
According to the driver of the Prius, who called authorities to report the accident, the Honda overturned and crashed into the back of the Prius.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to help parties who sustained possible injuries in the accident.
The factors contributing to the accident will be established when authorities conclude their investigation.
