Fairfield, CA: Major Injuries Sustained in Traffic Crash on 80 Freeway
At Least 1 Injured in Fairfield Car Accident on 80 Freeway near Lynch Road
Fairfield, California (July 13, 2020) – Fairfield firefighters and paramedics responded to eastbound 80 Freeway Sunday evening at the scene of a two-vehicle collision that resulted in major injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 7:00 p.m. west of Lynch Road.
The vehicles collided for reasons still under investigation.
The firefighters said at least one person suffered major injuries in the crash. The condition of the patient was not mentioned.
One of the vehicles acquired major rear-end damage.
CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
