2 Injured in Fontana Car Accident at Duncan Canyon Road and Coyote Canyon Road
Fontana, California (July 12, 2020) – Two people were injured Saturday night in a traffic accident at an intersection in northwestern Fontana, according to a local news source.
The crash involving two vehicles happened at around 11:28 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at the intersection of Duncan Canyon Road and Coyote Canyon Road.
Police said a black Honda Accord was heading eastbound on Duncan Canyon Road when the driver failed to stop at a red light and sideswiped a blue Honda Civic that was stopped at a northbound stop sign on Coyote Canyon Road.
As a result of the collision, the Accord lost control and slammed into the center median before it flipped onto its wheels in the westbound lanes of Duncan Canyon Road. The Civic came to a rest in the westbound lanes of Duncan Canyon Road, just west of Coyote Canyon Road.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries in the crash but declined medical aid.
No other details regarding the crash were immediately available.
The accident remains under investigation by the Fontana Police Department.
