Minor Injuries Sustained in Vacaville Car Crash on Interstate 80 near Leisure Town Road
Vacaville, California (June 25, 2020) – Minor injuries were reported Thursday afternoon following a traffic accident in Vacaville, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place at about 2:45 p.m. on Interstate 80 near Leisure Town Road, the authorities said.
According to the CHP, a box truck collided with a car in the eastbound lane of the interstate for unknown reasons.
As a result of the collision, both vehicles veered off the roadway and into an auto dealership parking lot, where the box truck came to a stop on top of the other vehicle.
Minor Injury Traffic Crash on Interstate 80 in Vacaville
Authorities said the crash resulted in minor injuries. However, the total number of injured parties and their identities were not immediately disclosed.
The accident remains under investigation by the CHP.
