Rider Hospitalized after El Dorado Hills Bicycle Accident at Avanti and Royal Oaks Drives
El Dorado Hills, California (June 15, 2020) – A cyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries after colliding with a car Sunday morning at an intersection in El Dorado Hills, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident happened at about 10:17 a.m. at Avanti and Royal Oaks drives.
As per the report, the bicyclist collided with a car of unknown make and model under unclear circumstances.
The rider was taken to the trauma center at UC Davis Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
