2 Hospitalized after Goleta Car Accident on Highway 101 Off-Ramp at Turnpike Road
Goleta, California (June 5, 2020) – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Friday evening near Goleta in Santa Barbara, according to officials.
At about 5:19 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to the major injury crash on southbound Highway 101 off-ramp at Turnpike Road.
The authorities said several vehicles collided on the roadway. The reasons that contributed to the accident are yet to be established.

First responders arrived at the scene and extricated two parties who were trapped in the wreckage.
Two people were hurt in the mishap. One person was critically injured while the other victim sustained moderate injuries. Both patients were taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.
Traffic on southbound Highway 101 off-ramp at Turnpike Road was stopped for an unknown period due to the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
