Ariel Delgadillo among 2 Killed in Tulare County Truck Crash at Avenue 328 and Road 80

Tulare County, California (May 20, 2020) – Ariel Delgadillo, 17, of Visalia, was among two people who died following a traffic crash that happened Tuesday morning at an intersection in Tulare County.
The tragic accident occurred at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, at the intersection of Avenue 328 and Road 8o.
Authorities said George Llamas, 20, of Dinuba, was driving a 2010 Prius southbound on Road 80 toward Visalia at a high rate of speed when he crashed into the back of a commercial farming truck that was making a lane change at the intersection with Avenue 360.

Delgadillo, who was riding as a passenger in the Prius, was pronounced dead at the scene. Llamas was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Another passenger in the Prius, a 16-year-old, was also taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center with critical injuries.
Marijuana plants were scattered across the scene of the crash and a loaded gun was recovered inside the car.
The accident remains under investigation.
