1 Hurt in Lamont Car Accident at Panama and Edison Roads

Lamont, California (May 7, 2020) – One person sustained minor injuries in a traffic collision involving two vehicles in Lamont last week Friday morning.
The minor injury crash happened at about 10:00 a.m. May 1, at the intersection of East Panama and South Edison roads.
Officials said a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck collided with a blue Kia Optima at the intersection near Main Street for unknown reasons.
Both vehicles were damaged upon the impact.

One unidentified person sustained minor injuries following the wreck. Paramedics responded at the crash site and rendered aid to the wounded victim.
The accident resulted in the closure of the intersection temporarily as police and emergency crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
