Two Men Hospitalized after Valencia Car Accident on 5 Freeway and Rye Canyon Road
Valencia, California (April 26, 2020) – Two people were hospitalized after a traffic collision on Sunday evening in Valencia, according to police.
The crash happened at about 6:00 p.m. near 5 Freeway on Rye Canyon Road.
According to the authorities, a red sedan and a gray SUV collided on the freeway in unclear circumstances.
As a result of the collision, the gray SUV landed on the south side of Rye Canyon Road while the red car landed on the westbound side of Rye Canyon Road, blocking the right lane.
Two men were hospitalized due to the injuries sustained from the crash.
The roadway remained closed as of 6:30 p.m. following the accident.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
