26-Year-Old Man Killed in Redlands Motorcycle Crash on Orange Street

Redlands, California (April 14, 2020) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Saturday afternoon in Redlands, according to the authorities.
The crash happened just before 5 p.m. April 11, on Orange Street near the Santa Ana River wash.
Authorities said a 26-year-old Redlands man was riding a 2009 Kawasaki motorcycle southbound on Orange Street when he drifted across the double yellow lines to pass a vehicle and collided with an oncoming vehicle. The rider then struck the vehicle he was passing.
Rider Killed in Redlands Motorcycle Crash on Orange Street
The motorcyclist, whose name was not immediately released, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the northbound vehicle sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash caused a closure of Orange Street for several hours.
The crash is under investigation.
