One Killed in Sonoma County Crash on State Highway 12 and Oakmont Drive

Sonoma County, Cafornia (April 3, 2020) – A person was killed in a collision involving a tree trimming truck on Thursday morning in Sonoma County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at State Highway 12 and Oakmont Drive at about 7:30 a.m. April 2.
According to CHP, Tanner Robinson, 29, was driving the truck eastbound on SR 12 when he failed to stop for a red light and struck the left side of a blue Honda Civic that was making a left turn from Oakmont onto westbound SR-12.

The driver of the Honda was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
Robinson was arrested on suspicion of DUI. He was booked into jail on a $100,000 bail.
The incident is under investigation.
