One Killed in Fresno County Crash on Highway 41 and South Avenue
Fresno County, California (March 31, 2020) – A person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Monday afternoon near Caruthers in Fresno County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened in the area of Highway 41 and South Avenue at about 3:30 p.m. March 30.
According to CHP, a Honda Civic was traveling westbound on South Avenue when he crossed the intersection and was hit by a Ford truck traveling south on Highway 41.
1 Driver Dies in Fresno County Collision
The driver of the Honda was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
CHP said alcohol and drugs were not factors in the crash.
The collision remained under investigation.
