52-Year-Old Man Killed in Antioch Crash on Contra Loma Boulevard and State Highway 4

Antioch, California (March 27, 2020) – A man was killed in a two-vehicle collision that occurred on a State Highway 4 off-ramp in Antioch on Wednesday night, according to the Antioch police.
The crash was reported at around 9:45 p.m. March 25, on the eastbound off-ramp at Contra Loma Boulevard.
According to police, a 52-year-old Oakley man was driving on the off-ramp when he failed to stop for a red light and broadsided a vehicle traveling southbound on Contra Loma Boulevard.

The Oakley man was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in his vehicle were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle, an 18-year-old Antioch man, was hospitalized with major injuries.
The Antioch Police Department is investigating the collision.
