1 Killed in Carson Car Accident on Gardena (91) Freeway at Central Avenue
Carson, California (March 23, 2020) – According to the California Highway Patrol, one person died following a traffic accident involving a truck Sunday night in Carson.
The CHP said the fatal crash took place on Gardena (91) Freeway at Central Avenue on March 22.
The accident involved a car and a truck that crashed in the westbound lanes of the highway at approximately 8:55 p.m.
The initial report indicated that the car slammed into the rear of the truck and became wedged underneath it.

Sadly, one person was declared dead at the scene. Pending notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, all westbound lanes of the highway were closed down for an unknown time.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
