Victim Struck and Killed by 2 Cars at San Joaquin Hills Road and Newport Ridge Drive in Newport Beach ID’d as Aubrye Foote

Newport Beach, California (March 19, 2020) – Authorities has released the name of the Newport Beach female bicyclist who was struck and killed by two cars in Newport Beach late Saturday night.
The fatal crash was reported on March 14 at San Joaquin Hills Road and Newport Ridge Drive.
According to the Orange County Sheriff-Coroner, 45-year-old Aubrye Foote was riding her bicycle at the Newport Beach intersection when she collided with an older-model Honda Insight and a Toyota SUV at approximately 11:12 p.m.
Medical personnel responded to the crash site and found Foote and a mangled bicycle in the roadway.

Foote was taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo, where she died early Sunday at 12:04 a.m.
The deadly accident remains under an active investigation.
