Weed, CA: Driver Seriously Injured in Traffic Crash on Highway 97
1 Severely Hurt in Highway 97 Big Rig Crash at Tenant Road in Weed
Weed, California (March 18, 2020) – A driver was seriously injured in a traffic crash involving a pickup truck and a big rig Tuesday night on a highway in Weed, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place at about 8:53 p.m. on Highway 97 at Tenant Road.
The cause and manner of the crash remained unknown. The big rig remained jackknifed and was blocking the roadway after the collision.
Emergency crews responded to the scene to help the pickup driver who was severely injured in the crash. The driver of the big rig was not hurt.
Authorities are investigating the crash.
