Jason Silva Killed, Jesus DeLeon Arrested after Watsonville Crash on Freedom Boulevard
Watsonville, California (February 27, 2020) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident involving a hit-and-run driver on Tuesday night in Watsonville, according to the Watsonville police.
The incident happened at around 9 p.m. February 25, on Freedom Boulevard.
Police said Jason Silva, 38, was running across the street when he was hit by an Acura.
The driver of the Acura, Jesus Picos DeLeon, 26, was allegedly racing another vehicle just before the crash.

Silva was killed in the crash.
DeLeon reportedly fled the scene after the collision and collided with another vehicle. He was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of hit-and-run.
The crash is under investigation.
