Southcrest Area, California (February 27, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a major two-vehicle crash that happened on Wednesday morning in the area of Southcrest.
The accident happened a while before 9:45 a.m. February 26, on Interstate 5 Freeway near 15 Freeway.
As per the CHP officials, a BMW sedan and a Toyota Prius were involved in the collision. A witness told the authorities that the BMW was speeding prior to the collision.

Responding firefighters along with medical personnel attended to two Prius occupants who were injured in the crash. At least one person was hospitalized with severe injuries.
Officials issued a SigAlert a while after 9:50 a.m. closing the far left lane for an unknown period of time.
