12-Year-Old Boy Hospitalized After Ventura Car Crash at Ventura Hill
Ventura, California (February 24, 2020) – According to the Ventura Police Department, a 12-year-old boy sustained major injuries following a traffic accident that took place in the area of Ventura on Saturday morning.
The major injury crash was reported at around 10:30 a.m. on a hill in Ventura.
As per the report, the accident began when the child was riding an electric scooter going down a hill around. The young man then lost control of the scooter and continued driving into moving traffic where he ended up crashing into the side of a car.
The involved driver stopped after the crash and cooperated with the investigation.
12-Year-Old Boy Seriously Injured in Car and Scooter Crash in Ventura
The victim, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, sustained serious injuries in the wreck.
The patient was attended to by paramedics and then transported to an area hospital for further medication.
No one in the car was injured.
Meanwhile, the identity and the current condition of the injured party have not yet been released to this time.
