Felipe Cobian ID’d as Montclair Man Killed in Baldwin Park Crash on 10 Freeway near Francisquito Avenue

Baldwin Park, California (February 21, 2020) – Felipe Cobian, 55, of Montclair has been identified as the man who was killed in a traffic collision involving a suspected DUI driver early Wednesday morning in Baldwin Park, according to the authorities.
The incident took place at around 4 a.m. February 19, on 10 Freeway west of Francisquito Avenue.
According to the CHP, Ana Guillen, 57, of West Covina, was driving a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV in the No. 5 lane of westbound 10 Freeway when she either slowed down or stopped and was sideswiped by a 1993 Nissan pickup truck.
The impact caused the Nissan to spin and it came to a rest blocking the middles lanes of the freeway. The Nissan then collided with a 2018 Honda Accord driven by Luis Uribe, 37, of Covina.
Felipe Cobian Identified as Man Killed in Baldwin Park Car Crash
Cobian was the driver of the Nissan and was killed in the crash.
Uribe was transported to a hospital with a fractured back.
Guillen was uninjured and was arrested on suspicion of DUI. She was taken to a hospital for a mental health evaluation.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
