1 Killed in Chico Motorcycle Crash on Forest Avenue and Springfield Drive
Chico, California (February 20, 2020) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Wednesday in Chico, according to police.
The incident occurred at Forest Avenue and Springfield Drive on Wednesday, February 19.
According to police, a gold Nissan was allegedly speeding northbound in the southbound bike lanes when it collided head-on with an oncoming motorcyclist. The Nissan also collided with two other vehicles.

One person died in the accident.
The other involved parties were treated for minor injuries.
The woman driving the Nissan remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
Forest Avenue between Wildflower and Springfield drives was shut down as crews investigated the incident.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
