Corona, California (February 16, 2020) – A woman died in an auto-pedestrian accident that occurred early Saturday morning in Corona, according to the Corona Police Department.

The deadly crash happened at about 12:24 a.m. February 15, on Sixth and Crawford streets.

Emergency crews responded to the incident and found an unresponsive woman at the scene. The crews performed life-saving measures on the victim. 

Carmen Castillo Killed in Corona Pedestrian Collision 

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. She was identified as Carmen Castillo, 35, of Corona.

The involved motorist remained at the scene after the crash.

It was not yet determined whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.

The Corona Police Department is investigating the incident.
