Pittsburg, California (February 13, 2020) – The man who was killed in a collision involving a motorcycle early Sunday morning in Pittsburg has been identified as 29-year-old Vincent Fisher II of Antioch, the Contra Costa County coroner’s office said.

The fatal accident happened on State Highway 4 just east of Bailey Road shortly before 2:09 a.m. February 9.

CHP said a 2002 Volkswagen sedan, a 2016 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and a 2015 Toyota sedan were involved in the crash, which occurred in the eastbound lanes of State Highway 4.

The Volkswagen was reportedly traveling the wrong way when it collided with the Toyota and the motorcycle. The impact ejected the rider from the motorcycle.

The rider, identified as Fisher, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the Volkswagen, Tony Moss, 59, of Antioch, was transported to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek for treatment. He was later arrested and booked into the county jail on suspicion of DUI

The driver of the Toyota, a 20-year-old Oakley man, was treated for minor injuries.

The CHP is investigating the crash.
