Pedestrian Killed in South Los Angeles Pedestrian Crash at Florence Avenue and St. Andrews Place
South Los Angeles, California (February 7, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a deadly pedestrian collision Friday morning in the area of South Los Angeles.
The fatal collision happened a while before 6:00 a.m. Friday, February 6, at Florence Avenue and St. Andrews Place.
As per the CHP officials, a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle for reasons still under investigation.

Responding emergency crews declared the victim dead at the crash site. The name of the deceased was not immediately released awaiting notification of family.
Authorities confirmed that the involved driver stayed at the scene and was cooperative.
Traffic was reportedly diverted to give way to an on-scene investigation.
An investigation is underway.
