Stephanie Miranda ID’d as Woman Killed in Santa Rosa Truck Accident on Highway 101 near Bicentennial Way

Santa Rosa, California (February 6, 2020) – Stephanie Miranda, 38, of Santa Rosa has been identified as the woman who was killed in a crash that took place in Santa Rosa about 12:25 a.m. on Tuesday, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office.
The fatal crash involving a big rig and a car happened on U.S. Highway 101 near the Bicentennial Way exit.
According to CHP, Miranda was driving a Mazda in the left lane on northbound Highway 101 when she moved into the right lane and to the shoulder, where she crashed into a stopped semi-truck.

Miranda was killed in the crash.
The driver of the big rig, a 35-year-old Reedley man, was uninjured in the incident.
Highway 101 was closed down as police conducted the investigation.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
