Gary Lindstrom Arrested after Fatal Napa DUI Car Crash at Browns Valley Road and Woodlawn Drive
Napa, California (February 5, 2020) – Authorities on Sunday, February 2, arrested 31-year-old Gary Lee Lindstrom after an alleged fatal DUI crash at a Napa intersection.
The deadly collision happened at about 7:27 p.m., at Browns Valley Road and Woodlawn Drive.
As per the CHP officials, Lindstrom was driving an Infiniti G37s west on Browns Valley Road while at the same time, a Chevrolet Camaro Coupe driven by 23-year-old Kevin Brandon Patland of Ronhernt Park was turning left from Woodlawn Driver towards the eastbound lane of Browns Valley Road. Lindstrom then broadsided the Camaro near the junction.

Patland was rushed to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Lindstrom and a 28-year-old woman of Milpitas driving in the Infiniti were taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities determined that Lindstrom was driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs when the collision happened.
Officials said that DUI allegation against Lindstrom is not connected to Patland’s death but in relation to the injuries suffered by his female passenger.
The suspect was booked into the Napa County jail on suspicion of DUI causing injury. Lindstrom was reported to have been released on early Monday on $100,000 bail.
An investigation is ongoing.
