Fatal Santa Rosa Truck Accident on Highway 101 near Bicentennial Way
Santa Rosa, California (February 4, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a fatal traffic collision that took place in the area of Santa Rosa about 12:25 a.m. on Tuesday.
The fatal crash involving a big rig and a car happened in the morning hours on U.S. Highway 101 off-ramp near the Bicentennial Way exit.
The circumstances that lead to the collision of the two vehicles in the northbound lanes of the highway were not immediately disclosed at the time of the report. Due to the impact, the car became wedged underneath the truck.
