Woman Killed in Stockton Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Knighton Road
Redding, California (January 26, 2020) – A woman was killed in a car crash early Sunday morning in Stockton.
The accident happened just after midnight on 5 Freeway near Knighton Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The authorities said a woman had been driving a 2007 Nissan and was stopped in the number three lane of the highway when she was hit by a 2007 Dodge pickup truck.
The woman, a resident of Anderson, was killed in the collision.
The authorities said a 25-year-old Cottonwood man who was driving the pickup truck was unhurt.
