Alfredo Rodriguez Arrested after Hit-and-Run Pedestrian on Pearblossom Avenue in Littlerock
Littlerock, California (January 26, 2020) – A man has been arrested on suspicion of DUI following a pedestrian accident that killed 65-year-old Jeri Kennedy in Littlerock on Thursday evening.
Jeri Kennedy was reportedly walking a dog in the 7600 block of Pearblossom Highway at about 8:00 p.m. when a car driven by 62-year-old Alfredo Rodriguez struck her.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Kennedy was killed in the collision.
Woman Killed in Palmdale Hit and Run Pedestrian Accident
Rodriguez continued driving after hitting the pedestrian and collided with multiple vehicles at the intersection of Avenue S and 25th Street East in Palmdale.
The authorities said Rodriguez and six other people were injured in the second collision. Two of the victims are reported to have sustained major injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
As per the CHP report, Rodriguez was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
No other information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
