Menifee, California (January 9, 2020) – The pedestrian who was fatally hit by a vehicle on Tuesday night in Menifee has been identified as Ruperto Baiza, 27, of Menifee, according to a local news source.
The collision was reported at about 8:10 p.m. January 7, on Menifee Road and Highway 74.
Authorities said Baiza was hit by a vehicle for unknown reasons.

Baiza was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene after the crash and cooperated with the investigators.
