1 Killed and 5 Injured in Car Accident on 905 Freeway near Beyer Boulevard in San Diego
San Diego, California (January 8, 2020) – According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was killed in a car accident that left five other people on Tuesday evening in San Diego.
The accident happened at about 9:15 p.m. January 7, on Interstate 905 Freeway near Beyer Boulevard.
As per the CHP report, five vehicles were involved in the collision. However, the manner in which the accident happened was not immediately established.
Two people were trapped in one of the vehicles and had to be extricated by the firefighters who responded to the incident.
One person was killed in the accident.
Five people were transported to a local hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
No other information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
