Man Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Spokane
Man Killed in Spokane Auto-Pedestrian Crash on Spokane Falls Boulevard
Spokane, Washington (January 7, 2020) – Authorities are searching for a hit-and-run driver who fatally struck a man Monday night in Spokane, a local news source reported.
The incident transpired just before 8:20 p.m. on Spokane Falls Boulevard near Hamilton Boulevard.
Spokane police, firefighters and AMR ambulance crews responded to the scene to find a man with injuries.
Rescuers administered CPR to the victim before medical personnel continued with life-saving efforts, but, unfortunately, the man died of his injuries.
Witnesses informed officers of the direction that the suspect vehicle took, and they located the car abandoned.
Police are looking for the driver of the vehicle.
