Man Killed in Car Accident on Highway 371 near Wilson Valley Road in Aguanga
Aguanga, California (January 3, 2020) – One person was killed in a car accident in Aguanga on Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
As per the report, the deadly collision occurred at about 6:15 a.m. on Highway 371 near Wilson Valley Road.
The authorities said a 2011 Nissan Versa was traveling northbound on the roadway when it rear-ended a 1986 Toyota pickup.
The impact of the collision sent the Nissan into the southbound lanes where it collided with a 2001 Mercedes-Benz.
Both the Mercedes and the Nissan overturned after the accident.
The 63-year-old Aguanga man who was driving the Mercedes was killed in the accident.
Two occupants of the Toyota were unhurt.
The driver of the Nissan fled the scene on foot.
No other information was provided.
