At Least 1 Injured in New Cuyama Car Crash at Highway 33 and Highway 166
New Cuyama, California (December 30, 2019) – At least one person was transported to the hospital after being involved in a traffic collision on Thursday noon in New Cuyama.
The two-vehicle accident happened in the afternoon hours on December 26, at the intersection of Highway 33 and Highway 166.
The accident began when a 2019 Ford Fusion stopped along SR-33 to make a left-hand turn westbound onto Highway 166 in front of a Pace Arrow motorhome traveling east on SR-166. The motorhome broadsided the Fusion and then crashed into a GMC Sierra pickup truck stopped behind the Fusion.

At least one person was taken to the hospital by a land ambulance for treatment of unspecified injuries.
