1 Possibly Hurt in Echo Lake Head-On Accident on Highway 50 near Sierra-At-Tahoe Road
Echo Lake, California (December 23, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a traffic collision that possibly resulted in unspecified injuries on Sunday afternoon in Echo Lake.
The collision, which happened shortly after 5:00 p.m. December 22, occurred along Highway 50 just west of Sierra-At-Tahoe Road in El Dorado County.
As per the CHP report, a white cargo van collided with a small silver SUV head-on along the highway for undisclosed reasons.
1 Possibly Hurt After Two-Vehicles Crashed Head-On in Echo Lake
One person was believed to have been hurt in the crash. The unidentified victim was attended to by paramedics who responded to the scene shortly after the wreck.
The extent of the injury suffered following the accident has not yet been released to this time.
The wreck resulted in the closure of both the eastbound and westbound lanes of the highway for an unknown time.
The investigation is underway.
