Major Injuries Sustained in 215 Freeway Collision near Washington Street in Colton
Colton, California (December 17, 2019) – Authorities said four vehicles collided Monday night on 215 Freeway in Colton, resulting in major injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the vehicles collided at around 9:00 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the freeway, just north of Washington Street.
Emergency crews responded to the scene to help the victims. An unknown number of parties sustained major injuries in the crash.
Tow trucks were needed to remove vehicles blocking traffic lanes from the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
