Teddy Woods Dies after Pomona Truck Yard Crash on Ficus Street
Pomona, California (December 16, 2019) – Authorities have identified 57-year-old Teddy Woods of Louisiana as the person killed after a truck accident on Saturday night in the area of Pomona.
The deadly crash happened at around 11:05 p.m. Saturday, December 14, at 2894 Ficus Street.
According to the CHP officials, Woods was standing near or between two empty unhitched truck trailers and was guiding a truck operator pulling out of a parking space. The backing driver hit one of the trailers as Woods lost his balance and hit his head against the side of the second trailer.
Responding firefighters declared Woods dead at the crash site. Officials did not suspect alcohol or drugs to be factors in the collision.
