Rider Injured in Irvine Bicycle Crash at Barranca Parkway and Harvard Avenue
Irvine, California (December 16, 2019) – A rider was hospitalized after a crash between a vehicle and a bicycle early Sunday morning in Irvine, according to the authorities.
The crash happened at about 12:45 a.m. December 15, on Barranca Parkway and Harvard Avenue.
Authorities said emergency crews responded to the incident and found a male down in the roadway and a bicycle next to him. The victim had been hit by a Honda CR-V.

The man was transported to a trauma center with unknown injuries.
The driver of the Honda was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
