Person Killed in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on Highway 15 near El Cajon Boulevard
San Diego, California (December 15, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday morning on Highway 15 in the Mid-City community of San Diego near Normal Heights, according to a local news source.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened shortly after 5:05 a.m. on northbound Highway 15, just south of El Cajon Boulevard.
The CHP said the pedestrian was on northbound Interstate 15 when for an unknown reason, they were hit by a vehicle.

The pedestrian died in the accident. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
At 5:36 a.m., a SigAlert was issued for the closure of northbound lanes.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately disclosed.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
