Terry Lishman ID’d as Driver Killed in Highway 41 Crash near Road 208 in Madera County

Madera County, California (December 10, 2019) – Authorities have identified the person who was killed Sunday morning in a possible weather-related multi-vehicle accident in Madera County as Terry Lee Lishman, 74, of Coarsegold.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash was reported just before noon on December 8 on Highway 41 near Road 208.
The CHP said a red Chevrolet Malibu was heading northbound on Highway 41 when the driver lost control in heavy rain and slid onto the opposite lanes where it crashed into a gray Toyota pickup and a blue Ford sedan.

The driver of the Malibu, now identified as Lishman, was declared dead at the scene by responding paramedics.
The driver and a passenger in the Ford sedan were taken to hospital in the Fresno area with minor injuries.
The driver of the Toyota pickup was also hospitalized with minor injuries.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
