Man, Woman Killed in Sacramento County Truck Accident on Jackson Highway at Eagles Nest Road
Sacramento County, California (December 7, 2019) – Two people were killed Tuesday morning in a traffic accident involving a semi-truck in Sacramento County, according to authorities.
The deadly crash happened just before 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 3 on the Jackson Highway at Eagles Nest Road just west of Sloughhouse.
Authorities said a semi-truck was traveling eastbound on Jackson Road, approaching the Eagles Nest Road intersection, when a white sedan veered across right into its path and was hit.
The female driver of the sedan and her male passenger were killed in the crash. Their names have not been disclosed pending notification of family.
The operator of the semi was uninjured.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
