El Centro, California (December 6, 2019) – A driver was killed in a wrong-way car crash in El Centro on Thursday evening.
According to a local news source, the accident happened on Highway 111 near Aten Road at about 5 p.m. December 6.
The authorities said an 82-year old Holtville woman was driving a car the wrong way with her headlights turned off when she collided with a second car.
The unidentified woman was killed in the accident.
The second driver suffered a fractured leg.
