San Diego, CA: Pedestrian Hit, Killed by Vehicle on Interstate 5 in Bay Park
Person Killed in Bay Park Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 5 near Clairemont Drive
San Diego, California (November 28, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday morning on Interstate 5 in Bay Park, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The deadly accident was reported at about 12:45 a.m. on the northbound side of Interstate 5, just south of Clairemont Drive and involved an Uber.
A video showed a black BMW sedan that had front windshield and severe roof damage.

One person died in the crash. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
The CHP closed all northbound lanes as they investigated the accident. As of 1:18 a.m., all lanes were reopened.
The accident remains under investigation.
