Man Injured in Bicycle Accident on Riggins Avenue near Shirk Road in Visalia
Visalia, California (November 28, 2019) – A bicyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Visalia on Wednesday evening in Visalia.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Riggins Avenue near Shirk Road at about 5:13 p.m. November 27.
The authorities said a man was riding a bicycle eastbound on the roadway when he was struck by a 2007 Toyota driven by a 60-year-old man.
The unidentified Hispanic male was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment.
