Person Injured in Sierra Pedestrian Crash on Interstate 80
Sierra, California (November 27, 2019) – A pedestrian was injured in a collision on Tuesday afternoon in Sierra, according to the CHP.
The incident took place at about 1:45 p.m. November 26, on Interstate 80.
CHP said a truck was involved in a crash with an SUV. As the two drivers were standing outside of their vehicles, a third vehicle lost control and slammed into the SUV. The impact pushed the SUV into one of the drivers.
The victim was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the collision.
