Yerali Gonzalez Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Highway 101 near De Soto Avenue in Woodland Hills
Woodland Hills, California (November 22, 2019) – 26-year-old Yerali Galvan Gonzalez has been identified as the woman who died after being struck by a car in Woodland Hills on Thursday morning
According to a local news source, the accident happened on Highway 101 near De Soto Avenue at about 5 a.m. November 21.
Gonzalez is reported to have exited her disabled 2019 Toyota Scion and was struck by a passing 2001 Nissan Frontier pickup truck.
Gonzalez is reported to have succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The pickup driver, 35-year-old Rufino Batres Moran, remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
No further information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
