Santa Maria, California (November 16, 2019) – A total of four people were transported to the hospital after being involved in a multi-vehicle collision in Santa Maria early Friday afternoon, according to the Santa Maria Police Department.
The four-vehicle accident happened in the afternoon hours, November 15, at Battles Road and Miller Street.
As per the report, a vehicle of unspecified built ran a red light while traveling south on Miller Street and collided with another vehicle heading east on Battles.
Due to the impact, the two cars rotated and collided again with two vehicles that were waiting at the stoplight in the intersection.
Santa Maria Multi-Vehicle Accident Sends Four to Hospital
Four people sustained mild to moderate injuries in the crash. All victims were rushed to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Officials affirmed that the four patients were treated and have already been released.
