Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt in Delhi Motorcycle Crash at Bradbury Road and Flowers Street ID’d as Peter Souza
Delhi, California (November 13, 2019) – 44-year-old Peter Souza of Hilmar has been identified as the victim who sustained major injuries in a traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle in Delhi on Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The motorcycle collision, which was reported at about 4:00 p.m. on November 9, occurred at the intersection of Bradbury Road and Flowers Street.
The CHP said Souza was riding a 2015 KTM Motorcycle eastbound on Bradbury Road when he was struck by a 1998 Plymouth Breeze driven by 62-year-old Luis Manuel Azevedo of Delhi.
The initial report indicated that Azevedo was making a left turn directly in front of the motorcycle on to Flowers Street at the time of the collision. Due to the impact, Souza was ejected from his bike.

Souza was transported to Memorial Medical Center by Mediflight with lacerations to his face and arms and two broken legs.
Officials said alcohol and drugs were not factors in the collision.
The investigation is underway.
