Rider Seriously Injured in Grantville Motorcycle Crash on Friars Road
Grantville, California (November 9, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a pedestrian early Saturday morning in Grantville, San Diego, a local news source reported.
Police are looking for the pedestrian who allegedly caused the accident and fled the scene.
The incident occurred at about 12:15 a.m. at the 10100 block of Friars Road.
As per the article, police said a 56-year-old man was riding his motorcycle eastbound when an unidentified person walked in front of him.
The motorcyclist hit the pedestrian, causing the rider to drive over the curb and crash into a street light pole.
The pedestrian fled the scene.
The rider was hospitalized with serious injuries.
